I had an awesome track workout tonight to make up for my lousy long run on Saturday.
It was 6x1 mile at 10K race pace, so for my marathon goal that put me at a pace of 7:12 per mile. These were my splits:
It didn’t feel difficult at all really to maintain the pace, I felt like I could have gone even faster but that was not the goal of this workout. So glad right now :)
Future in-laws meeting future in-laws today. Let the awkwardness commence.
This is Sam Pepper. If you don’t know who he is, Sam is a successful YouTube prankster with over 2 million subscribers. He recently uploaded a video titled “Fake Hand Ass Pink Prank" where he pinched unsuspecting girls’ butts without their permission. None of this was done with the girls’ consent…meaning Sam Pepper sexually harassed and assaulted these women.
This is no longer a “simple, harmless prank” but rather a very serious matter and offence. If you haven’t seen the video yet, you can watch, dislike, and report it HERE. You can also take the pledge to help stop sexual violence at itsonus.org. Please do not let Sam get away with this kind of behavior. He crossed the line and needs to be held responsible for his disgusting actions.

more of this here!<3
Epic failure of a 16 mile fast finish long run.
But all things considered, since when it wasn’t super hot it was super windy, and I had to move my run to today instead of tomorrow, I’ll try not to dwell on it too much.
10x800m at 12K pace with 1 minute rest.
That was more exhausting than I thought it would be. I’m beat.
